I have been thinking for a long time about what an alternative digital place could look like if it were not mainly about profiles, followers, personal brands, egos, profit or getting maximum attention.

That thought has now (at least) partially materialized digitally as TellTheUniverse (TTU).

At TTU, anyone can leave a short thought anonymously. A question. A memory. A statement. An “I don’t know.” Something you fear, hope for, love, or simply cannot stop thinking about.

What I find particularly interesting is what happens afterwards: Every contribution becomes part of the Cosmic Memory, an AI-based evolving reflection/memory of what people have told the universe so far. It changes as every new thoughts enter the space.

TTU is not there to tell people what to think or to pretend that it has answers. It is meant to be a place where thoughts can exist without immediately being judged, ranked, liked, or attached to an identity.

And the thoughts remain. They do not disappear from relevance after a few hours or days. Someone may encounter tomorrow a thought that was written long before. Maybe one day something other than us will read it.
